I am an imaginative English teacher with over ten years of experience. I have taught ages ranging from seven to infinity with a vast range of abilities and needs. Whether you or your child needs help on a one-to-one basis or you want to take part in small group activities, I can help. I offer personalised support that enhances the learning of English in a variety of ways. I offer personalised and small group tuition of the following:
- GCSE English language and literature
- Functional Skills – English and maths up to level 2
- KS3 English
- English and maths at KS2
I am based in Hampden Park, Eastbourne with a designated space for learning, full DBS and Probationary checks.
I pride myself on planning and creating engaging activities that are tailored to the learner/s’ needs. Whether you are looking for support for a learner who is struggling or pushing towards the top grades, I will develop a programme that will not only inspire a love of English but teach the underlying building blocks.
One- to-one or small group personal tuition is a great way to identify individual learning gaps/needs and create engaging activities to plug the gaps and move learning forward.
Details
I offer tuition of English from ages 7 onwards. This encompasses SATs, GCSE and A-Levels. However, if you want tuition to develop your knowledge and skill rather than working towards a qualification, this is also available.
Tuition is pay as you go but please give 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend.
